藤川ゆり市議「世界で最も美しい女性政治家」で4位、1位はルチアナ・
“美人すぎる市議”と話題になった青森県八戸市の藤川ゆり市議（２９）が、スペイン紙のホームページで開催中の「世界で最も美しい女性政治家」を選ぶネット投票に日本からただ１人ノミネートされ、１日現在、６５人中４位に付けている。ここにきて順位を上げており、今後の追い込みに期待大。世界の名だたる美人議員を相手に、野球のＷＢＣに続き日本代表が頂点に立つ！？
投票はスペイン紙「２０ミヌートス」で行われており、同紙が独断と偏見で選んだ世界３０カ国、計６５人の「美人政治家」が対象だ。
現在、約７万票を集め独走しているのは、美人の産地として知られる南米ペルーの最年少国会議員、ルチアナ・レオンさん（３０）。地元では「天使の笑顔」を持つと形容されているという。
約５万票で２位につけているのはブラジルの国会議員、マニュエラ・ダビラさん（２７）。同国で最年少で国会議員になった経歴の持ち主だ。
３位は、１９９７年のミス・イタリアコンテストでは６位になった同国のマーラ・カルファーニャ機会均等政策担当相（３３）。そして、このミスコン入賞者に約３０００票差、４万７０００票余りを獲得し４位となっているのが藤川市議。同紙のホームページの写真では、ストローをかじり、ほほえんでおり、さわやかな印象。この“キラースマイル”が世界中で認められたようだ。
ノミネート６５人には、日本でおなじみの顔も。
昨年の米大統領選で共和党の副大統領候補だったサラ・ペイリン・アラスカ州知事（４５）は３３位。ヒラリー・クリントン米国務長官（６１）も最高齢ながら、熟女の魅力？で４６位と健闘している。
アテネ五輪新体操で個人総合金メダルを獲得、ロシアの国会議員に転身したアリーナ・カバエワさん（２５）は６位。３つ編みがトレードマークのウクライナのユリヤ・ティモシェンコ首相（４８）は９位となっている。アジアからは藤川市議のほか、中国外交部の姜瑜報道官（４４）が５６位に付ける。
投票の期限は未定のようだが、藤川市議は３月２５日時点では５位で、最近は上昇傾向にある。現時点で世界４位という朗報にも、藤川市議のマネジメントを担当する会社は照れ隠しなのか、コメントを出す予定はないと素っ気ない。だが、日本からの投票が増えるなど今後の展開次第では、トップに立つ可能性は十分だ。
